Below are the criteria to guide your proposal.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Does your proposal relate to this year's theme, "MOVE IT?"
Does it show how movement can support many aspects of wellbeing, not just the physical?
* It should include some movement OR inform us of how movement plays a role in and improves; Intellectual, Physical, Emotional, Social, Environmental, or Spiritual wellbeing.
* It can also demonstrate the College’s commitment to community wellness.
* We are seeking proposals that creatively foster participants engagement, self-reflection, and inspire them to develop life-long skills of self-care.
ENGAGEMENT IS IMPORTANT:
As people take part in your activity we ask that they have an "experience" of some kind. That you actively engage them so that they "participate". Games, quizzes, art, crafts, physical experiences that require people to move, interact with others, or learn about how movement can positively impact various aspects of life are ideal.
Proposed activities will:
Take ten minutes or less to complete.
Appeal to a broad audience of students, faculty, and staff.
Be fun, it's a FAIR! Also, creative, possibly challenging, stimulating, and enlightening for participants.
Should include something people can takeaway; a new understanding or tangible item such as a new skill, poem, drawing, results from a game, or a small prize.
